How to play Stonejoin

Slide the pieces, make a passage between opposite edges, and score points.

Watch a passage form

Pick a direction and every piece slides together. The next shape is shown, but its landing cell is unknown.

Before the swipe
Before the swipe: a square at the top left and four round pieces across columns B to E of the middle row.
After the slide and a favorable new piece
After sliding left, the four round pieces occupy A through D; a new round piece appears at E and connects both edges.
The group clears
The group of five round pieces has cleared; only the square remains on the board.

Illustrative example: the new piece lands in a random cell. Other pieces stay on the board.

  1. Slide

Swipe up, down, left, or right. All pieces travel as far as they can without passing through one another.

  2. Watch the next piece

After a move that shifts at least one piece, the announced shape appears in a random free cell.

  3. Connect the edges

A side-connected group of matching shapes touching opposite edges makes a passage. The group clears and adds points.

  4. Keep going

Keep playing while you can move pieces and try to beat your high score.
